Got a watch that stopped ticking or a ring that no longer fits? The Watch Lab on Upper Ground is the place to take it. As members of the British Horological Institute with more than 25 years of experience, the team understands that a watch or piece of jewellery often carries real sentimental value. They work to get it back to you quickly, and they handle most brands, from vintage and automatic to mechanical and quartz.
Watch services cover battery replacements, glass replacements, dial restoration, full servicing, bracelet adjustments and repairs, ultrasonic cleaning and case and bracelet refurbishment. Simpler jobs are done in branch, and more complex work goes to the brand’s specialist workshop. Jewellery services include ring resizing, rhodium plating, claw re-tipping and bracelet and necklace repairs. The team also repairs sunglasses. Blue light card holders get a discount all year round, and dogs are welcome, so bring your four-legged friend along while you drop off that broken strap.
